Beadwork Bandana

Organic Cotton Bandana, Naturally dyed On Anishinabewaki land using: madder, eastern brazil wood and marigold.

The bandana design was loosely inspired by the classic kaleidoscopic paisley bandana, but rendered as beadwork grip pattern!

My fatherS staple was a red bandana. He owned an auto-body shop and was never far from a handkerchief. My favorite thing about these work rags was how soft they would get after dozens of washes. In that spirit I have sourced the most incredibly soft and supple organic cotton - and after the many washes during the natural dying process, they have a broken in, well loved feel. The discharge ink used also softens after every wash.

This one’s for you pops.
